Dezeen has some excellent pictures about this stunning forgotton masterpiece by Oscar Niemeyer, designed for a planned world fair in Tripoli, Lebanon. An urban development with 15 pavilions was left unfinished when civil war broke out in 1975. Today the site is under attack from city planners who want to redevelop it to a theme park.
